  • Shaun Ilahi makes work from the spaces between — between cultures, timelines, and the deeply private and the universally felt. Drawing on photography, painting, sewing, writing, and projection, his practice weaves nonlinear narratives that resist easy reading, demanding the viewer's active participation to complete them. Rooted in the Midwest and shaped by decades of travel and exchange, his art treats geography not as backdrop but as living material.
